Jacques Delors, former president of the European Commission and founder of the think tank 'Notre Europe' will be the guest speaker at a conference on the responses to the crisis in Europe and the proposals from the 'Appeal for a European Socialist Alternative', organised by the Socialists and Democrats Group.
The Conference will take place Wednesday 28 March from 16:30 to 18:00 in the European Parliament in Brussels, room Anna Lindh JAN 4Q2.
Jacques Delors will be the guest of S&D Group leader Hannes Swoboda and Euro MP Harlem Désir who has launched the 'Appeal for a European Socialist Alternative.'
Jacques Delors will exchange views with Paul Magnette, the young Belgian minister of public enterprises, scientific policy and aid to development.
